Four times a year, on a Tuesday night, the Daystar house hosts Soup Night...a time for all ages to come together...to eat, to sing, and to study together a lesson from scripture.
Usually, about 50 of Daystar's family and friends gather for supper, worship, and a time of reflection. Home-made soup, bread and desserts are brought by different folks. Music for worship, and the teaching is led by Daystar staff members and various special guests. To volunteer for this event please call the Daystar office at 615-298-5353.

Each fall, Daystar hosts "The Bike Thing"... an event where kids and families bike the Natchez Trace together.
This day gives kids a chance to participate in a fun family day...They gather sponsors for their ride so they can help to raise funds to keep the Daystar office "rolling," as we say. Last year ,The Bike Thing raised $68,000 to help "keep Daystar rolling" through the fall. We had over 100 riders participate.The youngest was 6 years-old...and the oldest was 76 years-old!

Dec 06, 2010 Chaffin's BarnEvening in December is an annual fundraising event usually the first Monday of December. Guests enjoy dinner and music to usher them into the Christmas season.
We have had an array of musicians over the years: Buddy Greene, Women in the Round featuring Tricia Walker, Ashley Cleveland, Karen Staley, and Beth Neilsen Chapman, Sara Evans, Phil Vassar, Amy Grant, Mt. Zion Baptist Church Choir, Fairfield Four, Marty Stuart, and so many more.
This coming year will be the 20th Anniversary. Last year Daystar was blessed to raise $164,779. To volunteer or purchase tickets for this event please call the Daystar office at 615-298-5353.
